Candidates can now use tools like ChatGPT or other language models to meticulously tailor their resumes to specific job descriptions. They may pass initial screenings, but they are often rejected in later stages due to a lack of requisite skills or knowledge. This leads to extended hiring cycles and a significant waste of time and resources.
Our innovative platform revolutionizes this process. Users upload a job description (JD) and a pool of resumes, and we handle the rest. Our AI generates a customized interview plan tailored to your JD and company profile. Each candidate receives an interview link, where the AI conducts the interview in a human-like manner, ensuring a fair and comprehensive evaluation. This approach not only streamlines the hiring process but also enhances accuracy, significantly reducing turnaround times and resource wastage.
Q: Has your product reached the commercialization stage, or is it still in development?
A: Our system is currently in a closed beta phase, allowing us to rigorously test its functionalities. This includes our candidate mock interview platform, which shares the core features of our main system.
We are also testing on the candidate side and anticipate transitioning to open beta, with potential public access planned between mid-September and October. We are preparing to onboard several clients, including staffing agencies that are keen to integrate our platform into their interview processes.
Our first pilot program will commence in the last week of August with the staffing agency Talent Genie. We will closely monitor feedback from this pilot to make necessary adjustments and improvements. Moreover, this careful preparation will ensure that our platform is fully optimized for a successful public launch.
Q: How do you foresee the future potential of AI-based products in transforming the hiring landscape?
A: Generative AI has advanced significantly, achieving both maturity and stability, and its integration into various industries is becoming increasingly prevalent. Companies are enthusiastically embracing AI technologies to optimize their operations, often using them to replace traditional staff roles. Despite this technological progress, a substantial skill gap remains. Many individuals are engaging in upskilling efforts, yet they frequently struggle to find practical opportunities to apply and validate their new skills. Our mock interview platform addresses this gap by providing a crucial space for practice and evaluation.
Consider the job application process from the perspective of a recent graduate. When applying for positions on platforms like LinkedIn, one can receive 500 to 600 applications within the first hour. This influx makes it nearly impossible to screen and filter all candidates efficiently. During my tenure at a previous organization, I conducted approximately 200 interviews and frequently encountered a disconnect: the most professionally crafted resumes often belonged to candidates who were the least qualified. This inefficiency underscores the need for better tools and processes in the hiring landscape.

Q: Given your close partnerships with various companies for marketing your product, what kind of feedback and responses have you been receiving?
A: Three months ago, our efforts were primarily concentrated on evaluating candidates and refining our internal processes. Recently, we shifted our focus by attending several industry meetups to better understand current hiring trends and how companies are adopting AI technologies. These meetups offered valuable insights and revealed several promising opportunities with staffing agencies.
One notable example is a staffing agency. Their representative showed significant interest and indicated a willingness to commence collaboration as soon as next week, provided we move forward with production. This positive response has also been encouraging and has significantly boosted our motivation. With this newfound enthusiasm, we are now fully committed to pursuing these opportunities and advancing our initiative with renewed vigor.
