AllmyCraft isn’t just a brand, it’s a movement. It merges urban ambition with soulful grounding, driven by the mantra “live URBAN stay ROOTED.” AllmyCraft doesn’t merely create leather goods and décor; it shapes experiences that carry purpose. Each wallet, organizer, and aroma pyramid becomes a tangible reminder that mindfulness and ambition can thrive together.

Every creation reflects ancient symbolism, embraces sustainability, and inspires intentional living, where modern life meets timeless craft. This is more than design; it is the art of staying centered in a world that never stops moving.

During an exclusive conversation with The Interview World at the 4th International SME Convention, organized by the India SME Forum in collaboration with the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), Government of India, Prashant Priyadarshi, Business Mentor at AllmyCraft, delved into the brand’s distinctive design services for clients across India and abroad. He highlighted what sets AllmyCraft apart from similar platforms, shared insights on the network of artisans and craftsmen who bring the brand’s vision to life, and emphasized its growing social impact. He also revealed his long-term vision for expanding AllmyCraft’s creative and cultural footprint.

Here are the key takeaways from his insightful discussion.

Q: Could you elaborate on the range of design services AllmyCraft offers to clients in India and internationally, and explain how these services stand apart from other platforms in the market?

A: The core idea behind AllmyCraft is simple yet powerful. International brands often offer niche, beautifully crafted products, but at a steep price. Indian artisans, on the other hand, possess exceptional skill, often superior to those crafting for global luxury lines, yet they lack the design insight, management exposure, and technical guidance needed to compete on that level.

We saw this gap as an opportunity. Why not equip our artisans with the design thinking, training, and tools to create products that meet international standards? That’s exactly what we set out to do. We design products that blend aesthetic elegance with functional relevance, tailored for the contemporary market. Then we train local craftsmen to bring these designs to life, transforming their traditional expertise into globally competitive craftsmanship. Finally, we market these creations as premium, purpose-driven products that carry both heritage and modern appeal.

In essence, we’re building capacity at the grassroots while creating new market pathways. For artisans, this means skill upgradation, income growth, and access to a discerning niche market. For consumers, it means something deeper: a way to embrace modern living without losing touch with their roots.

That’s the philosophy behind our mantra: “live URBAN stay ROOTED.” Every design we create tells a story of Indian wisdom, heritage, and timeless artistry. Through our work, we connect consumers to their cultural identity while empowering makers to step confidently into the future.

Q: How many artisans and craftsmen have joined or are currently associated with your platform to date?

A: At present, more than 50 artisans are closely associated with AllmyCraft. These skilled craftsmen form the backbone of our creative ecosystem. When demand surges and new orders flow in, we expand this network by engaging local artisans. We train them intensively, sometimes on a short-term basis, so they can meet our design and quality benchmarks. As a result, our artisan base often scales between 50 and 100 creators at any given time.

However, we don’t employ them in a traditional sense. Instead, we empower them to operate as independent entrepreneurs. We place orders directly with them and encourage them to treat the work as their own business. This approach fuels motivation, accountability, and pride in ownership.

Beyond product training, we also equip them with essential business skills, from accounting and pricing to managing operations and customer relations. In doing so, we help them evolve from skilled artisans into confident business owners.

Through this model, AllmyCraft is not only sustaining craftsmanship but also cultivating entrepreneurship in rural India.

Q: Could you elaborate on the social impact AllmyCraft has created for artisans, and how your platform has improved their livelihoods and enabled them to achieve greater recognition and success?

A: Let me share a real story that captures what AllmyCraft truly stands for.

Not long ago, many artisans produced what exporters dismissed as “too rustic.” They were often overlooked because their products lacked the polish that global markets demanded. But that perception has begun to change dramatically.

One of our artisans recently shared an experience that perfectly illustrates this shift. An exporter who had once ignored his work called him back after seeing the new collection he crafted with us. “Your products look incredible,” the exporter said. “Why don’t you make for us?” The artisan smiled and replied, “Thank you, but I now create under my own name. I’ve learned how to design, how to manage, and how to run my own business.”

Another story moved me even more. In a leather cluster where we work, the Central Leather Research Institute (CLRI) was curating a showcase of India’s leather evolution over the past 50 years. Their team toured various workshops, selecting outstanding products. When they reached one of our artisans, they were stunned by his craftsmanship and immediately wanted to feature his piece.

But the artisan humbly declined. He said, “Sir, I’ve made this, but the design belongs to AllmyCraft. I need their permission.” When CLRI later called me, they praised not only the craftsmanship but also the integrity and professionalism our artisans now embody.

Stories like these reveal the real impact we are creating: empowered artisans who take pride, ownership, and ethical responsibility for their work.

Today, while we continue to strengthen our foundation in leather, we’re also expanding into new craft clusters across India. In time, as these products reach the market, the world will see how deeply we’re shaping the future of Indian craftsmanship.

Q: Where do you envision AllmyCraft in the next 5 to 10 years, in terms of innovation, emerging design trends, market expansion, and global exports?

A: Looking ahead, my vision is to build a complete ecosystem of craftsmanship. I imagine a collaborative space where artisans from diverse domains, such as leather, wood, ceramics, metal, and more, come together under one creative umbrella. Each craft contributes its unique strength, forming parts of a larger whole. The result: multi-medium products that blend materials, techniques, and traditions into something truly original.

We are already working toward that goal, creating an interconnected ecosystem where traditional skills, contemporary design, and market relevance coexist in harmony.

On the export front, our vision extends beyond selling products; we are exporting design intelligence. At AllmyCraft, we offer not just design services but also bespoke design collaborations tailored to international clients.

When we speak with our overseas partners, we tell them: “The heritage you see reflected in our Indian designs is only the beginning.” Whether our client is in the Nordic region or Africa, we invite them to share their own cultural stories. We then translate those stories into thoughtfully designed products that resonate with their local aesthetics, crafted through our Indian artisanal expertise.

In essence, if we can transform one culture into design, we can translate another with equal authenticity. Our products serve as prototypes, proof of what’s possible when craftsmanship, culture, and creativity converge.

That’s the kind of design partnership we now offer to our global clients: deeply cultural, exquisitely crafted, and distinctly AllmyCraft.
