He also outlines the key innovations and technological advancements FreighAI plans to introduce over the next five years. In addition, he shares insights into the company’s pricing strategy, growth and market expansion roadmap, as well as its cybersecurity framework and data protection initiatives. The following are the key highlights from this insightful and thought-provoking discussion.
Q: Could you explain the range of logistics solutions offered by FreighAI and how its AI-driven platform helps customers enhance productivity, improve operational agility, and accelerate business growth?
A: FreighAI is an AI-native platform built specifically for the freight forwarding industry. It enables freight forwarders to automate and streamline their entire operational lifecycle, from quotation management and booking execution to partner discovery, invoice processing, and collections. As a result, the platform delivers measurable improvements in efficiency, speed, and business performance.
The impact has been particularly significant for our customers. For example, one of our clients, Infinity Logistics in the UAE, has achieved remarkable operational and commercial gains since deploying the platform. Before adopting FreighAI, the company relied on a 12-member pricing and operations team to manage its workflow. Today, the same functions are handled by just six people. More importantly, the remaining team members have transitioned into revenue-generating sales roles, allowing the company to strengthen its growth engine without increasing overall headcount.
In addition, FreighAI has transformed the company’s quotation management process. Previously, generating a single quotation required more than 60 minutes. Now, the platform completes the same task in less than five minutes through AI-driven automation. Consequently, the company has significantly improved both response speed and pricing accuracy, giving it a stronger competitive edge in the market.
The business results have been equally impressive. Within just six months of implementing the platform, Infinity Logistics recorded approximately 70% business growth. Such outcomes underscore the transformative potential of AI in freight forwarding. By automating complex operational workflows and empowering teams to focus on strategic activities, FreighAI is helping logistics companies scale faster, operate more efficiently, and unlock new growth opportunities.
Q: What key innovations and technological advancements do you plan to introduce over the next five years to enhance FreighAI’s platform and strengthen its value proposition for customers?
A: Over the next five years, our vision is to fundamentally redefine how freight forwarding companies operate. We aim to automate the entire freight forwarding value chain by embedding advanced AI across sales, operations, customer service, and back-office functions. As a result, freight forwarders will be able to run their businesses with unprecedented efficiency, agility, and scalability.
At the core of this vision is the creation of a fully integrated AI agentic workforce. Rather than relying on large teams to manage routine operational tasks, freight forwarding companies will have access to intelligent AI agents capable of handling everything from quotation generation and pricing to bookings, shipment coordination, documentation, and customer support. Consequently, businesses will be able to automate a significant portion of their day-to-day operations while maintaining high levels of accuracy, consistency, and responsiveness.
More importantly, this transformation is not about replacing people; it is about elevating their role. By eliminating repetitive and process-intensive work, we enable teams to focus on activities that create greater business value. Instead of spending time on pricing administration and operational coordination, employees can concentrate on strengthening customer relationships, driving sales growth, solving complex challenges, and delivering superior service experiences.
Ultimately, our goal is to shift human effort away from transactional tasks and toward strategic engagement. As AI assumes responsibility for routine operations, freight forwarding companies can build leaner, smarter, and more customer-centric organizations that are better positioned for long-term growth and competitive advantage.
Q: Could you elaborate on FreighAI’s pricing strategy and business model, and explain how your pricing structure is designed to deliver value and scalability for customers of different sizes?
A: Unlike traditional software providers that rely on standardized pricing models, we take a value-driven and highly customized approach. We do not charge a flat fee. Instead, we begin by conducting a comprehensive assessment of each customer’s operating environment. Specifically, we evaluate four critical dimensions: their existing business processes, operational workflows, workforce structure, and the technology systems they currently use. In addition, we analyze the throughput and operational efficiency they achieve with their present setup.
Based on this assessment, we develop a clear understanding of the customer’s current scale, performance levels, and growth potential. We then identify the specific operational improvements and business outcomes our platform can deliver. More importantly, we quantify the impact we expect to create. For example, if our analysis indicates that we can help a customer improve productivity, throughput, or business performance by two, three, or even four times, we structure our solution and commercial engagement around that projected value.
As a result, our pricing model remains closely aligned with the business outcomes we generate rather than the software itself. This approach ensures that customers invest in measurable transformation and tangible returns, while we remain fully accountable for delivering meaningful operational and commercial impact.
Q: What growth and expansion strategies are you pursuing to scale FreighAI’s business, and which geographic markets do you see as key priorities for your future growth plans?
A: We recently emerged from stealth mode, making this event our first major public engagement since formally introducing the company to the market. Although we have been building and operating the business for the past 18 months, we deliberately maintained a low profile while refining our platform, validating our technology, and delivering results for our customers.
At present, we have an established presence in the UAE market. However, our growth strategy now extends beyond the Gulf region. We are actively pursuing expansion opportunities across India and Southeast Asia, both of which represent significant growth markets for digital transformation in logistics.
At the same time, evolving geopolitical and trade dynamics, particularly those affecting key global shipping corridors such as the Strait of Hormuz, have prompted us to reassess our regional priorities. Consequently, we have intensified our focus on Southeast Asia, where freight volumes, cross-border trade activity, and logistics modernization initiatives continue to accelerate at a remarkable pace.
As a result, Southeast Asia has emerged as a strategic growth market for us. Moving forward, we plan to deepen our presence across the region by participating in industry events, strengthening engagement with freight forwarders, and building partnerships that support long-term expansion. Through these efforts, we aim to accelerate adoption of AI-driven logistics operations and establish a strong regional footprint in some of the world’s fastest-growing trade economies.
Q: Given the critical nature of logistics data, what cybersecurity measures and data protection initiatives has FreighAI implemented to ensure platform security?
A: Security and data protection remain fundamental to our platform architecture. We have designed the application as a highly secure, enterprise-grade solution built on a multi-tenant architecture that ensures strict data isolation and operational integrity across customer environments.
In addition, we recognize that data sovereignty and confidentiality are critical concerns for logistics organizations. Therefore, customers who prefer to maintain complete control over their data can host their datasets within their own infrastructure, including on-premises environments and private servers. This approach allows them to retain ownership and control of sensitive business information while leveraging the capabilities of our platform without exposing their underlying data assets.
Furthermore, we secure all data transmissions through AES-256 end-to-end encryption, one of the most widely trusted encryption standards in the industry. As a result, every data exchange across the network remains protected throughout its lifecycle. This robust security framework significantly reduces the risk of unauthorized access, data interception, and man-in-the-middle attacks, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and security of customer information at all times.
Ultimately, our cybersecurity strategy combines advanced encryption, secure architecture, and flexible deployment models to deliver a platform that meets the highest standards of enterprise security while giving customers complete confidence in the protection of their data.
