A: In separator film manufacturing, productivity is the defining technology. Higher output directly determines business success. ST YOUNGWON has successfully developed advanced production technology that enables the manufacture of significantly larger volumes of film at the same cost, in the same time, and with the same level of quality. This innovation allows for the production of wider, higher-capacity separator films on our cutting-edge production lines, setting a new benchmark for efficiency and scale.

A: Battery manufacturers that adopt our technology can produce the same volume of separator film at a significantly lower cost and in a much shorter time. This is the competitive edge our innovation delivers—greater efficiency, faster production, and substantial savings for our customers.
Q: Do you currently have operations in India?
A: We have not established operations in India yet. However, we have a strong partnership with Mappes Inc., a trusted Indian company that supplies equipment, raw materials, and digital solutions for the lithium-ion battery manufacturing and recycling industry.
Q: What is the size of the lithium-ion battery film manufacturing business in India?
A: To the best of my knowledge, India currently has no full-scale lithium-ion battery separator film manufacturing facility. If an Indian company adopts our production line to manufacture separator film, it would become the first of its kind in the country. While several Indian companies import battery separator films (BSF) from China and other nations, none have yet established a complete domestic production line.
