He highlights the robust market response for Agritech products in India and emphasizes the critical importance of rigorous quality control in agricultural practices. Q: Could you share details about your product offerings in Agritech space?

A: At SooryaUday, we lead the way in drones and robotics manufacturing. Operating out of Faridabad with our head office in Jasola, Delhi, we are a proud subsidiary of Omega Seiki Mobility—an EV industry titan holding over 20% market share in India. This synergy fuels our relentless drive for innovation.

In the realm of robotics, we’re trailblazing with cutting-edge Agritech solutions. We’ve developed two products tailored to meet the critical needs of farmers for pesticide and fertilizer spraying. Our first product aligns with industry standards, yet we strive to keep costs remarkably low.

The second product, however, is a game-changer. Patented and engineered with precision, it slashes costs by more than 80% compared to existing market offerings. This breakthrough underscores our commitment to delivering unparalleled value and efficiency to our clients.

Q: Could you elaborate on the key features and advancements you have planned for the upcoming drones?

A: Our new model will not only match the functionalities of existing ones but will excel at applying pesticides and fertilizers with precision. It boasts a 10-litre tank, the industry standard for effectively covering one acre of farmland.

We intentionally focus on the 10-litre capacity because larger sizes, like 16 or 25 litres, are impractical for Indian agriculture. This strategic choice also allows us to maintain cost efficiency.

This product also stands out as a groundbreaking innovation, and we will be the pioneers in India to bring it to market.

Q: What has been the response to agritech and robotics in the agriculture sector in India?

A: In the past 5 to 10 years, robotics has transformed agriculture. From land labeling to surveying, robotics now drives efficiency in these crucial tasks.

As someone deeply rooted in farming, I closely monitor how my father applies these advancements on his farm. Our immediate focus is on robotic spraying, but we have ambitious plans. We aim to infuse these systems with AI technology.

AI will not only boost land productivity assessments but also identify pests in crops and on land via drones. This leap forward will certify agricultural quality while slashing time spent on manual tasks. Currently, most farmers delegate these responsibilities to laborers rather than managing them personally.

I am spearheading a long-term initiative to implement this technology over the next 7 to 10 years. Operating from Delhi, I intend to manage farms 200 to 500 kilometers away in my village. Our vision is to enable remote farming with cutting-edge technology.

With AI integration, all devices will be seamlessly connected. I plan to deploy a person on-site to handle the tools while I operate them remotely. AI promises to revolutionize agriculture, though it will take a decade to fully unfold.

The reality is, few are contemplating this shift. As someone with a farming background, I am committed to leading this charge. If I don’t, others will seize the opportunity and take control of our farmland. Immediate action is essential to secure our agricultural future.

Q: How do these technologies ensure rigorous quality control and maintain the highest standards of product quality in agriculture?

A: We are setting our sights on 90% in-house component manufacturing and 100% in-house software development. My team is fully equipped to achieve this. They are performing brilliantly, turning visionary ideas into reality with remarkable efficiency.

Our track record is impressive. We previously developed a dual-mode product that operates seamlessly in both air and on surfaces. Now, we’re pushing the boundaries further with an innovative product that will excel in air, surface, and underwater environments.

We are poised to be the first in this domain, with a specific focus on the Defence sector. Although we haven’t formalized our collaboration with Defence yet, we are aggressively pursuing this potential partnership.

The product is still in development, but our design team is making significant strides. We anticipate completing the design phase and filing the patent within the next one to two months.
