The key insights from his discussion follow.
Q: Could you elaborate on the innovative fence manufacturing machines your company offers, and explain how they stand apart from competing offerings in the market?
A: At Secure Machines & Automation Pvt. Ltd., our core strength lies in manufacturing the full spectrum of machinery for the wire and fencing industry. Although this sector is highly specialized, its market size and growth potential are immense. We address this opportunity by equipping businesses with advanced, efficient machines that accelerate their productivity and expansion.
Our portfolio spans every major category of fencing machinery, from chain-link and welded-mesh machines to GI wire drawing systems. In addition, we produce hinge-joint, grassland fencing, and knot-fence machines, offering a complete, end-to-end range tailored to the industry’s evolving needs.
Today, we stand as the pioneering force in India’s fencing-machinery space. With more than 2,300 installations across the country, from Jammu & Kashmir to Kanyakumari and from Gujarat to Assam, we have a presence in virtually every state and region. Wherever you look, our customers are there.
Q: Do you currently export your machines to international markets?
A: Yes, we also export our machines. Our primary international markets include Nepal and Bhutan. Beyond South Asia, we supply to Canada, South Africa, and several Gulf countries as well. Even so, India remains our largest and most dynamic market, accounting for the majority of our demand.
Q: Considering the price sensitivity of the Indian market, how does your company balance affordability with value and innovation?
A: When it comes to machinery, customers prioritize quality over price, and that is exactly where we excel. Our machines consistently deliver top-tier performance, which has earned us deep trust across the industry. We focus on enhancing our customers’ production capacity, improving efficiency, and ensuring that their output never suffers downtime.
As a result, our machines prove highly cost-effective in the long run. While the initial investment may appear substantial, the reliability and productivity they deliver far outweigh the upfront cost. Our product range spans from ₹2.5 lakh to ₹1 crore, covering completely different market segments and catering to diverse operational needs.
Q: Could you share insights into your customer base, particularly your leading clients in India?
A: When we look at our major customers, several leading Tata dealers rely on our machines. Beyond them, industry giants such as Sandvik Steel, Nirmal Wires, and HD Wire also use our equipment. These companies represent some of the most respected brands in India’s fencing sector, and they all trust our machines to power their production.
Q: What new offerings are you planning to introduce to the market over the next 5 to 10 years?
A: Our upcoming innovations focus primarily on advancing the welded mesh segment. We are developing a comprehensive range of welded mesh machines that can manufacture products using thin wires as fine as 1.4 mm and 1.6 mm, while also enabling the welding of wire rods up to 12 mm in diameter. This spectrum gives manufacturers the flexibility to produce everything from lightweight mesh to heavy-duty structural grids.
We are investing heavily in this area because the welded mesh sector is expanding rapidly and has become crucial to India’s construction industry.
