Founded in 2016 and headquartered in Bhopal, Rezovate Constructions is redefining the construction landscape through bold innovation and an unwavering commitment to sustainability. With a specialized focus on advanced concrete manufacturing, the company harnesses the power of nanotechnology to engineer next-generation construction materials that outperform conventional solutions.

A pivotal moment came with the creation of Odus Flooring—a game-changing, dust-free, and ultra-durable alternative to traditional epoxy and PU systems. This proprietary solution has transformed industrial flooring across critical sectors such as food processing, pharmaceuticals, textiles, and manufacturing.

Rezovate’s impact is tangible. To date, the company has treated over 300,000 square feet of industrial space across five major cities. In doing so, it has dramatically reduced solid waste, minimized water usage, and significantly lowered carbon emissions.

Built on the pillars of integrity, commitment, and client-centric innovation, Rezovate continues to lead India’s transition toward sustainable industrial infrastructure—one factory floor at a time.

At the PRAGATI Founders Forum 2025, hosted by iHub-AWaDH at IIT Ropar, Priyanka Gupta, the visionary founder of Rezovate, sat down with The Interview World for an exclusive conversation. She offered a deep dive into the company’s cutting-edge product innovations for the construction industry.

She shared how Rezovate’s breakthrough concrete technologies have saved substantial volumes of water, spotlighted the key R&D collaborators powering these advances, and detailed the performance characteristics that set their materials apart. Most importantly, she unveiled an exciting roadmap of innovations she plans to bring to market over the next five to ten years.

Here are the most compelling insights from her conversation.

Q: Can you share insights into the innovative products your company is currently developing to address the evolving needs of the construction sector?

A: We specialize in high-performance concrete solutions engineered with advanced nanotechnology. Our innovative products significantly reduce water consumption during construction, marking a major leap toward sustainable building practices.

But that’s just the beginning. We also offer dust-free and scratch-resistant concrete variants, each designed to enhance performance while minimizing environmental impact. At the core of our work lies a sharp focus on durability and longevity—whether it’s new construction or the maintenance and repair of existing structures.

Our solutions don’t just build; they revitalize and extend the life of aging infrastructure. By strengthening and protecting these assets, we help ensure they perform better, last longer, and demand fewer resources over time.

Q: Can you quantify the water savings achievable with this type of concrete, and what implications does it have for sustainable construction practices?

A: We offer a diverse portfolio of innovative products, but one standout solution is our fast-curing concrete additive. This breakthrough technology reduces water usage in construction by up to 75%—a game-changer for sustainable building.

Traditionally, concrete structures require 28 days of continuous water curing, using methods like sprinkling or ponding to maintain moisture. However, when our fast-curing additive is mixed into the concrete, the curing period drops to just seven days. This dramatically cuts water consumption while maintaining structural integrity.

In essence, we’re not just building smarter—we’re preserving vital resources and transforming how the industry approaches concrete curing.

Q: Who are your key research and development partners in the creation of this advanced concrete technology?

A: We have formed a specialized team that collaborates closely with premier institutions like NIT Bhopal, IIT Bombay, and now IIT Ropar. Through strategic partnerships, we have established dedicated research groups that work hand-in-hand with the construction community. Let me take you through the origin story of Rezovate.

Initially, we operated as construction contractors, starting at the grassroots level much like typical petty contractors. This hands-on experience gave us a deep understanding of the real challenges faced on-site. For instance, industrial flooring is a critical area where we focus extensively. We developed a proprietary product called Odus Flooring tailored specifically for industrial environments. Today, we proudly serve major clients such as Procter & Gamble, Unilever, Britannia, and Mitsubishi Electric.

These companies embraced our solution because no existing flooring product met the rigorous demands of industrial use. Consider the difference: a convention centre floor primarily ensures comfortable walking and aesthetic appeal. In contrast, factory floors must withstand heavy vehicle traffic, constant abrasion, and harsh operational conditions. Existing floors often fail under such stress, cracking and scratching easily.

Recognizing this gap, we committed ourselves to innovation. Collaborating intensively with NIT Bhopal and IIT Bombay, our research teams conducted extensive experiments. We discovered a unique chemical treatment that can be simply mopped onto concrete. This treatment penetrates the surface without forming a layer, significantly enhancing the concrete’s inherent strength.

By strengthening the concrete itself, our solution makes floors scratch-resistant and highly durable against industrial wear and tear. This breakthrough has transformed industrial flooring standards, delivering resilience where it matters most.

Q: What are the standout characteristics of your concrete that set it apart in terms of performance, sustainability, or application?

A: As I mentioned earlier, we are expanding our product portfolio with innovative solutions designed for challenging environments. One such product is Fast Cure, which is already available in the market. I strongly believe this product holds tremendous potential in water-scarce regions like Dubai and similar markets. These countries face acute water shortages, and Fast Cure’s efficient formulation addresses that critical need.

Additionally, we are preparing to launch another advanced product called RezoVap. This is a highly technical additive designed to solve a persistent problem contractors face during concreting in extreme heat. Take India’s Gujarat, for example, where the summer weather is scorching, dry, and windy. Under such conditions, concrete inevitably develops cracks, regardless of its grade.

Currently, contractors in places like Dubai tackle this issue by working only at night when temperatures drop or by mixing ice into the concrete. Both methods are expensive and impractical. Setting up an ice plant onsite or forcing labourers to work night shifts doubles costs and raises serious safety and ethical concerns.

Our solution is simple yet revolutionary. By adding RezoVap directly to the concrete mix, contractors can eliminate cracking caused by heat and dryness. This means concreting can proceed efficiently during hot, dry weather—without the need for ice or inconvenient night shifts.

Moreover, we have also introduced a range of colored concrete products, which are already launched and well-received.

These innovative products mark the next phase of our growth, and we are preparing to export them globally very soon.

Q: Looking ahead, what are your key innovation priorities for the next 5 to 10 years, and how do you envision them shaping the future of your sector?

A: As I mentioned, RezoVap is slated for market launch next quarter and will soon be widely available. That initiative is well underway.

Meanwhile, we are tackling another critical challenge: waterproofing concrete itself. Currently, multiple waterproofing solutions exist, yet the problem remains unresolved. Even in five-star hotels, seepage issues persist. This proves that despite the demand and willingness to invest, no definitive technology has yet solved the problem.

Addressing this gap is our next priority. We plan to develop a breakthrough waterproofing solution embedded within the concrete itself. This will revolutionize how waterproofing is approached and bring a lasting solution to a long-standing issue.
