Evigway is an Indian deep-tech startup operating at the intersection of defence, cybersecurity, and advanced intelligence. Founded in 2020 and headquartered in Gurugram, the company designs and deploys AI-driven technologies that strengthen military intelligence, cyber defence, and secure digital infrastructure. Its engineering teams develop solutions built on artificial intelligence, deep learning, geographic information systems (GIS), and cybersecurity, while integrating defence-grade mechatronics for high-assurance operational environments. As a result, Evigway equips government agencies, law-enforcement bodies, and critical-infrastructure operators with systems capable of addressing complex security challenges.

Moreover, the company concentrates on strengthening national security through advanced cyber-intelligence capabilities, resilient IT architectures, and next-generation communication technologies. By combining precision engineering with sophisticated software frameworks, Evigway delivers mission-critical platforms designed for reliability, scalability, and strategic advantage. In doing so, it aligns closely with India’s Aatmanirbhar Bharat vision, seeking to reinforce the country’s strategic defence capabilities through indigenous innovation and cutting-edge technological development.

In an exclusive interaction with The Interview World at the India AI Impact Expo 2026, Sumit Sharma, Senior Manager – Sales at Evigway Technologies Pvt. Ltd., discusses the company’s defence solutions and explains how Evigway integrates artificial intelligence and computer vision into its platforms. He also outlines the organization’s core client segments, shares insights into upcoming innovations and product launches planned over the next five years, and articulates the company’s long-term strategic vision. The following are the key insights from this in-depth conversation.

Q: Could you elaborate on the defence solutions offered by Evigway and explain how they contribute to strengthening and differentiating India’s strategic capabilities?

A: We operate as a defence-focused organization that manufactures critical electronic components for major military platforms. Specifically, we produce components for the T-72 and T-90 main battle tanks, including the complete electronic control units that regulate key operational systems. In addition, we develop electronic subsystems associated with the Bofors artillery platform, thereby contributing to the reliability and operational readiness of these defence assets.

Beyond hardware manufacturing, we also work extensively in Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) technologies. In this domain, we collect real-time data through an integrated network of satellites, drones, CCTV systems, and IoT-enabled devices. Subsequently, we process and analyze this information before delivering actionable intelligence to government agencies and security authorities. This capability allows decision-makers to monitor sensitive environments, detect anomalies, and respond swiftly to emerging threats.

Furthermore, we develop advanced defence-grade mechatronics solutions that complement our ISR capabilities. These systems integrate intelligent sensors, automated control mechanisms, and secure communication frameworks to support complex operational requirements.

In addition, we provide specialized VVIP security solutions. During high-profile movements or sensitive convoys, we deploy surveillance drones along designated routes. These drones conduct continuous aerial monitoring and identify suspicious activity, unknown individuals, or potential threat indicators, often represented as flagged or “red” markers within the monitoring system. Once detected, security teams can immediately secure the route and neutralize risks, thereby ensuring safe and uninterrupted VVIP movement.

Q: Are you leveraging artificial intelligence and computer vision technologies to deliver advanced solutions?

A: Yes, we integrate artificial intelligence and large language models (LLMs) across our entire software ecosystem. These technologies power our analytical capabilities, enhance data processing, and enable faster, more accurate decision-making. As a result, our platforms can interpret complex data streams, automate intelligence workflows, and deliver actionable insights with greater speed and precision.

Q: Have your solutions already been deployed within India’s defence sector?

A: Yes, we have deployed our solutions across the Indian Navy, the Indian Army, and the Indian Air Force, thereby supporting operations across all three services. In addition, we are empanelled with leading national research and strategic institutions such as DRDO and ISRO, which enables us to collaborate on advanced technology initiatives and specialized defence projects.

Moreover, we actively engage with several other government bodies and strategic organizations. As a result, our technologies now operate across multiple major government institutions, where they support mission-critical requirements and strengthen national security capabilities.

Q: Are you also supplying your products to private organizations?

A: Yes, we can supply our solutions to private organizations. However, at present, we primarily serve government clients because strict regulatory norms govern defence procurement and technology deployment. Consequently, these compliance requirements limit broader commercial distribution for now. Nevertheless, we remain open to engaging with private-sector organizations as the regulatory framework evolves and permits wider collaboration.

Q: What new innovations or products is Evigway planning to launch over the next five years?

A: We are preparing to launch a compact armed drone designed for precision tactical operations. Measuring approximately six inches, this small-form drone combines agility with lethal capability. Despite its size, it is engineered to neutralize high-value targets with accuracy. This represents a significant advancement in miniaturized defence drone technology, enabling operations in confined or high-risk environments where larger systems cannot operate effectively.

Q: What is the long-term vision of the organization, and where do you see it in the next decade?

A: Looking ahead, we anticipate significant revenue growth in this sector over the next decade. Our strategic focus includes developing Made-in-India ammunition to strengthen domestic defence manufacturing. In parallel, we are advancing indigenously produced missile systems, several of which are already operational. Furthermore, we plan to upgrade all existing missiles and modernize aircraft capabilities, ensuring they meet next-generation operational standards and reinforce India’s strategic self-reliance in defence technology.
