In an exclusive conversation with The Interview World, Vikash Chaudhary, Founder & CEO, highlights how HackersEra tackles critical cybersecurity challenges. He explains how the company adapts its solutions across diverse industries to counter evolving threats, integrates AI to accelerate threat detection and response, and safeguards interconnected systems in the IoT and IIoT landscape. Furthermore, he shares insights into emerging technologies poised to shape the future of cybersecurity. Below are the key takeaways from this insightful discussion.

Q: In the face of escalating cyber threats worldwide, how does HackersEra prioritize and address the most pressing cybersecurity challenges across different regions?

A: At HackersEra, we treat cybersecurity as a business-critical priority, not merely a compliance formality. Every region faces unique challenges: Europe focuses on UN R155/156 readiness, India aligns with AIS 189/190, and North America leads in cloud-driven connected mobility.

To address these demands, we combine regulatory alignment with proactive threat intelligence. We implement Cybersecurity Management Systems (CSMS) and Software Update Management Systems (SUMS) customized for each region. In parallel, we provide penetration testing, fuzzing, and validation services in strict adherence to global frameworks. This integrated approach ensures our clients achieve global compliance while maintaining robust regional resilience.

Q: With over 500 corporate clients globally, how do you ensure that HackersEra’s solutions remain adaptable to diverse industries and evolving cyber threats?

A: Our adaptability stems from deep cross-domain expertise. While automotive remains our core focus, we also secure IoT, healthcare, OT, telecom, and fintech ecosystems. By learning from diverse domains, we anticipate emerging threats early and apply solutions across industries.

For instance, our Vehicle SOC (VSOC) and Automated TARA Tool are engineered to scale across sectors. Powered by AI analytics, they remain agile in the face of new threat vectors. Backed by a team of 40+ cybersecurity professionals with over 150 years of combined experience, we continuously evolve our solutions to stay future-ready and resilient.

Q: Artificial Intelligence is revolutionizing cybersecurity. How is HackersEra integrating AI into its services to enhance threat detection and response times?

A: AI drives the core of our innovation roadmap. Our Vehicle SOC (VSOC) harnesses AI to detect zero-day threats, analyze anomalous behaviors, and model predictive attacks.

Within vehicles, our CAN IDPS and upcoming Ethernet IDPS integrate lightweight AI algorithms capable of running directly on ECUs with limited resources. This approach enables real-time, in-vehicle threat detection while still leveraging cloud analytics for deeper insights. The result is faster detection, reduced false positives, and highly resilient safety-critical systems.

Q: With the rise of AI-driven cyberattacks, how does HackersEra’s ethical hacking approach evolve to counteract these sophisticated threats?

A: We are actively developing adversarial AI testing frameworks. Our red teams simulate sophisticated AI-driven attack vectors, including automated fuzzing, adaptive malware, and RF signal spoofing.

By blending hands-on expertise with automated exploit frameworks, such as CAN Bus Exploiter, UDS Exploiter, and RF exploit suites, we ensure the defensive AI deployed in VSOC and IDPS systems is rigorously trained against realistic, high-impact attack scenarios. This approach guarantees resilient, battle-tested protection from emerging threats.

Q: In the context of IoT and IIoT, how does HackersEra ensure the security of interconnected devices and systems?

A: IoT and IIoT often represent the weakest links in connected ecosystems. To address this, we adopt a full-stack security approach.

At the hardware level, we protect debug ports such as JTAG, UART, and SPI. For firmware and software, we enforce secure boot validation, analyze SBOMs, and implement secure coding practices. Across networks and the cloud, we perform penetration testing on APIs, MQTT/AMQP messaging, and backend integrations.

We align with global standards, including ISO 21434, IEC 62443, NIST, and AIS 189, ensuring both compliance and resilience. To date, we have secured over 3,000 OT plant assets and 200+ connected medical and IoT devices, demonstrating our ability to scale security solutions across industries.

Q: Looking ahead, what emerging technologies does HackersEra foresee impacting the cybersecurity landscape, and how is the company preparing to address these developments?

A: The future of mobility is being reshaped by autonomous driving, EV infrastructure, and V2X communications, and three key shifts define this transformation. First, in automotive Ethernet security, our Ethernet IDPS leverages deep packet inspection and AI-driven anomaly detection. Second, in V2X and 5G ecosystems, we develop cybersecurity testbeds for ADAS, lidar, mmWave radar, and satellite-linked vehicles. Third, through AI-driven SOCs, we are building a cybersecurity test track for autonomous vehicles that simulates real-world cyber-physical threats in controlled environments.

Through these initiatives, HackersEra positions itself not merely as a compliance partner but as an innovation enabler for the next decade of mobility. Our mission is clear and profound: to safeguard every vehicle and ecosystem from cyber risks. The connected future holds immense promise, but true safety requires trust: a trust that emerges only when cybersecurity is treated as safety-critical. We are proud to build that future: Made in India, for the world.
