Q: Could you provide an overview of the key products and solutions of Spade Infotech, highlighting what sets them apart from your competitors in the market?
A: We offer a range of innovative products, with one of our standout solutions being a Salesforce automation tool designed specifically for SMEs. This product is intuitive and user-friendly, tailored to address the challenges faced by sales teams in the field. Tracking activities, taking notes, and managing tasks can be cumbersome for sales professionals. To simplify this process, we’ve developed a mobile application that streamlines their workflow. It allows users to track their location, manage expenses, create purchase orders with a single click, and handle lead management and visit logs efficiently. The app also supports audio notes, enabling salespeople to record meetings instead of writing them down. Essentially, this tool significantly eases the workload of Salesforce teams.
On the backend, managers and HR can monitor all activities in real-time through their dashboards, expediting order processing. There’s no need for additional communication via WhatsApp; once an order is approved, operations can commence immediately. This seamless integration reduces operational time considerably. If you can use WhatsApp, you can use this app—no training required. It’s one of our flagship offerings, and we’re currently developing additional products to enhance our portfolio.
In addition to our product line, we excel in IT services, catering to clients in the US, Europe, and the Middle East. India’s reputation as a hub for software development is well-deserved, and our brilliant team exemplifies this. We function as an extended team or an offshore software development partner for our clients. For example, we’ve partnered with a leading insurance company in Saudi Arabia for over 15 years, serving as their exclusive software development team. Our team has developed their entire medical insurance software, handling everything from quotations to policy management, claims processing, and extensive B2B integrations with hospitals, brokers, and government portals like Policy Bazaar in Saudi Arabia. Our role is to translate our clients’ requirements into comprehensive, end-to-end software solutions.
We have extensive experience across various industries, including insurance, healthcare, manufacturing, education, and retail. We thrive on transforming client needs into viable software solutions, regardless of the industry.
Moreover, Spade Infotech holds an ISO 27001 certification, underscoring our commitment to data security. Protecting client data is a cornerstone of our business model. This is particularly crucial when working with European clients, where GDPR compliance is non-negotiable. We take data privacy and security seriously, implementing robust security measures across all our software and infrastructure. We conduct annual audits and ensure our firewalls and security layers are fortified against potential threats. Our dedication to safeguarding data is unwavering, providing our clients with the confidence they need to trust our solutions.
Q: Given your work with several international clients, what percentage of your total revenue comes from exports compared to your domestic market?
A: Previously, our focus was heavily skewed—95% on international markets and just 5% on India. However, in the past year, we’ve successfully shifted that ratio to 75% international, while significantly expanding our presence in India. This progress excites us, and we are proud to contribute to India’s growth. Having spent 13 years in the United States, I bring valuable expertise back to our country, with a strong commitment to serving it.
Q: With your extensive experience in the telecommunications industry, what innovative solutions or advancements are you currently driving in the telecom space?
A: Not at this moment. However, we are in discussions with a seasoned telecom expert. We’re currently developing a product that’s in its seed stage, marking just the beginning of this venture. Telecom has always been a focal point for me. I entered the field in 1996, the year all Indian states received their mobile platform licenses. I played a key role in establishing Haryana’s first mobile tower and facilitating the state’s inaugural phone call.
Before 1996, only Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, and Kolkata had mobile platforms. That year, the entire country was granted licenses for mobile operations, and I contributed significantly to the launch of Haryana’s mobile network.
Q: With emerging technologies like AI, IoT, and Blockchain rapidly transforming the IT landscape, how is Spade Infotech strategically integrating and leveraging these innovations to stay competitive and drive growth?
A: To maintain our market presence, we must embrace emerging technologies. Currently, we are collaborating with an Indian company developing a green energy product. Our focus is on implementing a comprehensive AI solution for this initiative. At Spade Infotech, we approach our work methodically and incrementally. We do not aim for exponential growth within a year. Instead, we prioritize the satisfaction of our existing clients while ensuring our new clients also receive exceptional service. Our goal is sustainable growth without compromising client satisfaction.
Unfortunately, the distinction between basic algorithms and sophisticated AI is often lost on end users. Companies frequently market their products as AI-driven without clarifying the underlying technology. Effective AI requires a specific use case and a well-built application. For instance, in banking, while standard functionalities like account statements and transfers remain essential, AI can enhance these services with specialized use cases. Basic programming will continue to be relevant, serving as the foundation upon which advanced intelligence layers are built. Our approach remains focused on gradual and steady progress in integrating new technologies.
