SC Reports on Alleged Cash Stash at Justice Varma’s Home

The Supreme Court on Saturday made public a report, including images and a video, detailing the alleged discovery of unaccounted cash at Delhi High Court Judge Yashwant Varma’s residence. The inquiry, initiated by Chief Justice Sanjiv Khanna, led to Justice Varma being relieved of judicial duties. However, Justice Varma strongly refuted the claims, calling the allegations a conspiracy to malign him. He emphasized that neither he nor his family had stored cash in the storeroom, asserting that no money was present when the site was restored after a firefighting operation on March 14.
