Recognizing that young minds absorb information rapidly, Respond Right creates limitless learning opportunities. Children can build a vast library of knowledge in their subconscious, which they can draw upon as they grow.

In an exclusive conversation with The Interview World, Ashwin Aditya, Director of Sales at Respond Right, discusses the company’s offerings to enhance the learning experience for young students. He elaborates on age-appropriate learning activities, emphasizes the assessment processes for evaluating children’s learning capabilities across both hemispheres of the brain, and shares insights into student enrollment numbers in our programs. Below are the key takeaways from his conversation.

Q: Can you explain Respond Right’s mission and the specific products or services it offers to enhance the learning experience for young students?

A: At Respond Right Education, we are proud to be the world’s first and only right-brain education smart school. We also focus exclusively on students from nursery to grade 2, offering 12 to 15 innovative activities to foster receptiveness, responsiveness, and creativity. Furthermore, we aim to nurture the potential of young learners who aspire to become future doctors and engineers. Our dynamic approach empowers children to develop essential skills that will serve them throughout their educational journeys and professional careers.

Q: Given the focus of Respond Right is on students from nursery to standard 2, how do you design age-appropriate learning activities for this specific age group?

A: We have traveled to eight countries to develop our innovative product. Our research revealed that India’s early childhood education ranking is significantly low. In response, we are also driving meaningful change in this sector. Our diverse activities target various brain areas, ensuring a comprehensive approach to early childhood development.

Q: How do you assess children’s learning abilities using the left-brain and right-brain concepts when testing their engagement with specific activities?

A: To support our mission, we utilize advanced assessment tools that provide detailed assessment sheets. These tools enable us to identify which areas of the brain—specifically the frontal, parietal, temporal, and occipital lobes—are most active in each child. By understanding these dynamics, we can effectively guide their future learning paths.

For example, if we determine that a child’s frontal lobe is highly active, we recognize that this region is crucial for decision-making and problem-solving. In such cases, we might suggest focusing on the science stream, where this skill set can be fully developed.

Conversely, if we observe significant activity in the parietal lobe relating to auditory processing and sensory interpretation, we recommend exploring humanities. This path nurtures the child’s emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills.

Additionally, a strong activation in both the temporal and occipital lobes suggests a suitability for commerce. This combination supports mathematical reasoning and linguistic proficiency, making it an ideal stream for these students. Through tailored assessments, we empower each child to pursue their strengths and interests, setting them on a path to success.

Q: How many students have been assessed using your system in India and globally?

A: We have successfully trained nearly 20,000 students across India. Our presence spans various schools in Mumbai, where we operate both a franchise model and an offline program. Through these initiatives, we collaborate with multiple schools and preschools to enhance the learning experience for children.

In total, we have positively impacted over 20,000 students in India. We are expanding our operations to the Philippines, where we anticipate reaching 100 to 200 children. This expansion reflects our commitment to providing quality education and fostering young minds in new markets.

Q: What market opportunities do you foresee for your product within India?

A: We do not approach this initiative solely from a market perspective. Furthermore, we democratize our program by expanding into tier 2 and 3 cities. While we have established operations in tier 1 cities, we are committed to driving meaningful change across India. Our focus is on enhancing educational opportunities rather than purely pursuing business growth.
