Mumbai witnessed political unrest as Shiv Sena workers vandalized the office of The Unicontinental Mumbai, where comedian Kunal Kamra had mocked Maharashtra Deputy CM Eknath Shinde. Kamra, during his performance, referred to Shinde as a “traitor” and used a parody song to allude to his 2022 rebellion. Party members have also filed a police complaint against him. Shiv Sena MP Naresh Mhaske issued a strong warning, while Aaditya Thackeray questioned Maharashtra’s law and order. The controversy continues to escalate, with demands for Kamra’s arrest and threats of further action against him.
