Klariti Learning Innovations is an education company focused on making learning engaging, accessible and future-ready for children. Its expert-led online programmes combine interactive instruction, hands-on activities and personalised learning to build confidence, creativity, curiosity and critical thinking. The company offers structured programmes in phonics, creative writing, public speaking and coding through small-group and one-to-one sessions. Its age-appropriate curriculum enables children to develop essential language, communication and technology skills at their own pace. With learners across multiple countries, Klariti seeks to empower young minds through innovative education and help them grow into confident, capable global citizens.
In an exclusive conversation with The Interview World, Sangeetha Ramasamy, Founder, Klariti Learning Innovations Pvt. Ltd., discusses the company’s approach to education and learning, the needs of children and women that Klariti seeks to address, and the experiences that shaped her journey as a mother, educator and entrepreneur. She also explains how these experiences have influenced the company’s learning solutions and her approach to leadership. Looking ahead, she outlines her vision for building Klariti into a scalable, literacy-focused education ecosystem with a strong presence in India and international markets. Here are the key takeaways from the conversation.
Q: What are the most important indicators of Klariti’s success so far, such as learners reached, programmes delivered, partnerships, measurable outcomes and revenue growth?
A: Klariti Learning Innovations operates in the education sector with a clear focus on helping children become confident readers, writers and communicators. What began as a small teaching initiative has evolved into a literacy-focused EdTech company with an integrated ecosystem covering phonics, spelling, grammar, creative writing, teacher certification, parent education, digital resources and a proprietary Learning Management System (LMS).
Our growth is reflected in several measurable milestones. We have reached learners across more than 14 countries, trained over 1,500 students and 750 educators, developed more than 20 proprietary literacy resources and received more than 250 testimonials from families and learners.
However, one of our most significant milestones has been the development of our own LMS. It marks an important transition from a predominantly live-class model towards a more scalable, technology-enabled learning ecosystem. The platform enables us to standardise the delivery of programmes and resources while expanding our reach beyond the limitations of a purely instructor-led model.
At the same time, I believe numbers tell only part of the story. The most meaningful indicator of our success is the transformation we witness in children. When a child moves from hesitation to confidently reading, writing and communicating, we know that our intervention has made a difference. For me, that confidence is the most powerful measure of our work.
Q: Which need among children or women gave Klariti its clearest sense of purpose? How has this translated into customer preference, repeat engagement, stronger margins or another tangible enterprise advantage?
A: Klariti’s clearest sense of purpose emerged from a recurring challenge we observed among children. Many could recognise familiar words but struggled when they encountered new or unfamiliar ones. At the same time, parents and educators wanted to support them but often lacked the knowledge, tools or structured methods required to do so effectively.
This observation led us to build our programmes around systematic literacy instruction. Our offerings span phonics, spelling, grammar, creative writing and other foundational skills, with our approach informed by the principles of the Science of Reading.
Importantly, we do not focus exclusively on the child. We also work with the adults who shape the child’s learning environment. Through teacher certification, parent education, structured resources and ongoing support, we equip parents and educators to reinforce learning beyond the classroom.
This ecosystem-based approach has created a strong foundation for trust and continued engagement. It has enabled us to train more than 1,500 students and 750 educators, reach learners across 14-plus countries and develop more than 20 proprietary literacy resources. More than 250 testimonials further reflect the confidence families have placed in our programmes.
Our principal enterprise advantage, therefore, lies in the ecosystem itself. By bringing children, parents and educators into a structured literacy framework, we create continuity in learning. That continuity strengthens trust, supports sustained engagement and enables Klariti to build relationships that extend beyond a single programme.
Q: How did your experience as a mother and educator influence the learning solutions and the way you lead the business? What commercial or operational result emerged from that experience, and why did it become an inflection point for Klariti?
A: Motherhood was the starting point of my entrepreneurial journey. My desire to understand how my own children learned to read took me deeper into Montessori education, phonics, grammar, handwriting and literacy development. As I explored these areas, I began to understand how profoundly a strong literacy foundation can influence a child’s confidence, communication and ability to learn.
That experience also changed my understanding of what parents actually seek. They are not simply looking for another class or another activity. They want meaningful learning, visible progress and, ultimately, greater confidence in their children.
The real inflection point came when I realised that my impact could not remain limited to the children I personally taught. If I wanted to reach more learners, I had to move beyond a founder-dependent teaching model. I needed to empower educators, develop structured programmes and create systems that could scale.
That realisation shaped Klariti’s transformation from a founder-led teaching initiative into a structured literacy EdTech company. Since then, we have trained more than 1,500 students and 750 educators, expanded our reach to learners in more than 14 countries and developed over 20 proprietary literacy resources.
The development of our LMS has accelerated this transition. It enables us to reduce our dependence on individual teaching hours and create a more consistent and scalable learning model.
This evolution has also transformed my role as a leader. I am increasingly able to focus on the larger picture, vision, strategy, partnerships, academic direction and growth, while building a team and operational systems capable of taking greater ownership of day-to-day execution.
Q: Looking ahead three to five years, what is your vision for Klariti Learning Innovations?
A: Over the next three to five years, my vision is to build Klariti into a trusted, literacy-focused EdTech brand from India with a strong national and international presence.
By 2030, we aim to impact more than 10,000 children, train over 5,000 educators, develop more than 100 literacy programmes and educational resources, and expand our operations to more than 25 countries.
Our next phase of growth will be driven by several interconnected engines. These include our digital learning platform and LMS, deeper partnerships with schools and educational institutions, educator certification and training, and continued expansion of our proprietary literacy resources.
We see considerable potential in the school and institutional segment. At the same time, we intend to strengthen our educator-training ecosystem because trained educators can extend our reach and help more children access structured literacy instruction.
Achieving these goals will require us to strengthen both our people and our technology. We will need deeper academic leadership as well as stronger capabilities across sales, operations, marketing, finance and human resources. In parallel, we will continue investing in technology and enhancing our LMS capabilities.
Our growth strategy will primarily rely on operating cash flow and reinvestment into the business. We intend to direct those investments towards educator capacity, talent, marketing, technology and operational infrastructure.
Ultimately, my vision extends beyond teaching more children. I want Klariti to become a scalable literacy ecosystem that connects children, parents and educators and enables them to become confident learners, readers, writers and communicators. If we can build that ecosystem at scale, we can create an enduring impact that reaches well beyond the classroom.
