Q: Could you elaborate on the specific testing instruments your company manufactures for the LED industry?

A: At the core of LED manufacturing, several fundamental parameters demand rigorous testing: surge capability, light intensity, input and output voltage tolerance, among others. We supply instruments that evaluate these parameters precisely, enabling manufacturers to enhance product quality with confidence.

For example, our surge generator replicates the voltage spikes commonly found in 230-volt AC mains. These spikes, if left untested, can cause an LED product to fail within a year. Instead of waiting for real-world conditions to expose these vulnerabilities, our machine compresses that stress into a two-hour testing window by delivering all the required impulses in a controlled environment.

As a result, manufacturers can assess product quality on the very first day of development. They gain immediate insight into how their R&D performs, which components need reinforcement, and whether additional protection is necessary. Q: What key factors set your products apart from competitors in the market?

A: In this domain, our primary competition comes from Chinese manufacturers. However, we stand apart as the first company to introduce a surge generator in India, and the only one that manufactures it domestically. Our systems fully comply with ISI standards, and we have already supplied this equipment to numerous accredited laboratories.

Today, our surge generators operate in both government and private-sector labs, where they have been thoroughly tested, validated, and proven in real-world conditions.

Q: How do you approach pricing your products relative to Chinese offerings, especially considering the strong price sensitivity in the Indian market?

A: Our machines cost less than their Chinese counterparts. Since imported equipment carries duties and additional charges, Chinese systems ultimately become more expensive. By manufacturing in India, we offer more competitive pricing while delivering equal, often superior, quality. More importantly, we provide reliable service support, which Chinese instruments simply cannot match.

After four or five years, when technical issues typically arise, Chinese suppliers rarely offer assistance. Instead, they often suggest purchasing a new machine. In contrast, we support our products for up to 20 years, with all spare parts readily available in India.

This long-term service capability makes it significantly easier for us to support our customers and ensure uninterrupted operations.

Q: What is your long-term strategy for product innovation and geographic business expansion?

A: We currently offer five to six specialized products for the LED segment, along with dedicated solutions for motor-testing divisions.
