The Interview World

President Donald Trump signed an executive order on Tuesday mandating proof of U.S. citizenship for voters, restricting mail-in ballots to those received by Election Day, and barring foreign nationals from making election donations. Citing India, Brazil, Germany, and Canada as models, Trump criticized the U.S. elections for lacking safeguards. The order directs federal agencies to review voter rolls, bans QR-coded ballots, and warns states that noncompliance could result in loss of federal funding. Trump, who returned to office in January, emphasized that elections must be “free, fair, and honest” to maintain public trust in the democratic process.
