U.S. President Donald Trump asserted that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has “no cards” in negotiations and is unimportant in diplomatic meetings. Speaking on The Brian Kilmeade Show, Trump blamed Zelensky and President Joe Biden for failing to prevent Russia’s invasion, claiming Vladimir Putin “could take all of Ukraine if he wanted.” He suggested Zelensky should seek a deal with Russia, criticizing his approach to diplomacy. Trump also lamented Zelensky’s rejection of a rare earth minerals deal, arguing that the war “never should have happened” and could have been avoided with better negotiation strategies.
