Q: Tell us about your products.
A: We proudly represent Geistlich Pharma AG, a distinguished Swiss company with nearly 170 years of history, specializing in bone and collagen expertise. Throughout our extensive experience, we have become unparalleled in the field of bone-related products.
Our commitment to excellence is evident in the range of innovative and globally acclaimed products we offer. Among our highly documented products is Bio-Oss, a leading solution in bone regeneration. Complementing this, we provide various bone substitutes, including Bio-Oss Collagen, Bio-Oss Pen, and Bio-Oss Block, along with membranes under the brand name Bio-Gide. Our soft tissue regeneration lineup is equally impressive.
Mucograft, a collagen matrix tailored for oral cavity soft-tissue regeneration, stands as an excellent alternative to the commonly used free gingival graft. Similarly, Fibro-Gide, a porcine, porous, resorbable collagen matrix, serves as an alternative for connective tissue grafts, particularly in soft tissue volume enhancement.
Our portfolio also includes bone harvesting instruments from Meta, an Italian company recently acquired by us. Notable products from Meta include Micross and SafeScraper scrapers, as well as membrane tags such as Metapin and Metapin Holder. Q: What are your offerings for India?
A: Our recent expansion has brought cutting-edge products like REGENFAST and Pocket-X to the European market, with plans for introduction in India soon. Additionally, we offer customized bone blocks known as Yxoss CBR, further enhancing our diverse and dynamic product range.
Q: How long have you been operating in India and what is the market response?
A: In July 2016, commercial operations commenced in India, marking nearly seven years of our presence. We take pride in being pioneers in bone and tissue regeneration within the country. Geistlich stands as a trustworthy brand, known for delivering predictable, long-term aesthetic results. Whether it’s hard or soft tissue regeneration, we lead the way in the field of regeneration. Q: What kind of innovations are you planning beyond the existing products?
A: When comparing various dental products for implants, it’s evident that improvements in design occur every 2 to 3 years. However, Geistlich stands out as an exception, maintaining the same product for the past 30 years. This lack of change is a testament to the product’s excellence; Geistlich doesn’t introduce modifications without absolute confidence in delivering optimal results. We prioritize quality over mere product turnover.
