The Interview World

In a historic and coordinated tri-services operation, the Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force carried out precision strikes at 1:44 am last night on nine terror-linked sites in Pakistan and Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir. Codenamed Operation Sindoor, the mission was India’s response to the April 22 Pahalgam attack that claimed 26 civilian lives. The operation targeted infrastructure used by LeT, JeM, and Hizbul Mujahideen, without hitting any Pakistani military facilities—underscoring India’s calibrated and non-escalatory stance.

Sources confirm Prime Minister Narendra Modi closely monitored the operation, which reportedly involved Rafale jets deploying SCALP cruise missiles and Hammer bombs. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and the Indian Army posted “Justice is served. Jai Hind,” following the strikes.

Pakistan retaliated with artillery shelling along the LoC, killing three civilians. India responded proportionately, as tensions escalated across the region. Civilian air operations in multiple cities were disrupted, and major airports were temporarily closed. Diplomatically, India briefed the US, UK, UAE, Russia, and Saudi Arabia. NSA Ajit Doval spoke with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio. As the world watches closely, India has made it clear: this is only Phase 1 of its response. More may follow based on Pakistan’s actions.
