The Interview World

On Tuesday, Israeli forces killed at least 10 Palestinians, including a child, in a brutal escalation in the West Bank. The attack came just days after the Gaza ceasefire took effect, as Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced the launch of a massive military operation in Jenin, dubbed “Iron Wall.” The offensive, led by the Israeli military, police, and Shin Bet security agency, aimed to “eradicate terrorism” in the volatile city.

Hamas quickly responded, calling for widespread resistance and urging “revolutionary youth” to intensify their confrontations with the occupation army. Meanwhile, Israeli warplanes relentlessly bombarded Jenin, while ground forces surrounded the city’s refugee camp, blocking ambulances and leaving a trail of devastation. Armored vehicles, including bulldozers, were seen advancing. The Palestinian Health Ministry reported at least 10 deaths and 40 injuries.

Islamic Jihad condemned the operation as a ploy by Netanyahu to salvage his faltering coalition and to crush Palestinian resolve following the Gaza truce. This offensive follows the deadly “Operation Summer Camps” campaign in the northern West Bank, where countless lives were lost.
