New Delhi: The second half of Parliament’s Budget Session kicks off today, with the Opposition set to target the government on issues including delimitation, the three-language policy, the Waqf Bill, and US trade tariffs. The government aims to pass the Finance Bills, completing the budgetary process, while Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will present Manipur’s budget. Congress and INDIA alliance partners are strategizing to counter the Centre’s policies. Meanwhile, Home Minister Amit Shah assured southern states they would not lose seats due to delimitation. The Opposition is also expected to raise concerns over voter duplication and US tariff policies.
