Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Washington, D.C., for his first bilateral meeting with President Donald Trump since the latter’s re-election. Greeted warmly by the Indian-American community at Blair House despite freezing temperatures, the visit of PM Modi comes amid rising trade tensions. Key agenda items include tariffs, investment, defence, technology, and immigration. The leaders will also discuss Indo-Pacific security, Ukraine, and West Asia. Modi has already met DNI Tulsi Gabbard and is set to meet Elon Musk at the White House. This marks Modi’s 10th US visit as PM and fourth meeting with Trump as President.
